Biography

Joey Blue's Lazer City Entertainment, brings you The best Latin and dance sounds in the tri-state area. Joey Blue is a
professional with a Bachelor of Arts, in Communication. With 30 years experience as a club mixer, he has journeyed
to different parts of the world to DJ and engineer shows. One of the few people who can spin records and engineer a
show in the same evening

From 1973 to the present he has played in world famous clubs, such as, Studio 54, Funhouse, Xenon, Starship
Discovery. Renown for his Latin DJing at the Original Copa Cabana of Rio Piedras, PR, The 310 1/2 Nite Club

and Havana Rios in New York. While DJing on the luxurious cruise ship The SS Britance, many have enjoyed
dancing under the beautifully lit starry nights to his distinguished club mixing.

Joey Blue has travel, as an audio engineer, with many Latin star, such as Marc Anthony, La India, The late Frankie
Ruiz to name a few. Other examples of his attributes is working with Latin Legends like Larry Harlow and the Latin
Legend Band, Jimmy Sabatar, Carlos Patato Valdes, Tito Puente, Mauricio Smith, Hector Lavoe Orchestra, Bobby
Rodriguez y La Compania, Johnny Pacheco, Johnny Almendra Y los Jovenes del Barrio, Etc...He has done shows
for R&B artist, such as, Blue Magic, The Shylites, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, Grace Jones, The Dells, and
Ray Goodman & Brown (formally known as the Moments). With all his extensive experience he also has radio
experience as well,on the east coast and Texas.

He has toured Europe, Japan and the United States with Larry Harlow and the Latin Legends, as sound engineer and
Disc Jockey. He toured beautiful cities as London, England; Southern France; Munich, Germany; Barcelona, Biboa,
Spain; Milano, Torino, Rome, Italy; Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. In August 1999 Larry Harlow and the Latin Legends
were inducted into the Japanese Jazz Hall of Fame (at Hatachinaka, Japan) along with Joey Blue Berrios as an Audio
Engineer. It has brought him many opportunities and many bookings in his business. Lazer City Entertainment features
a state of the art mobile system, which enables us to bring you the best party experience at a reasonable price.

On May 6, 1998 he participated in Pro Lighting, Sound & Music Expo CD mixing Competition, sponsored by
Pioneer. DJ Joey Blue won first place and in truth the only one that moved the crowd. He also entered a Mike

Thorne Mixman Remix Competition of Natural Beauty on February 2000 and won first place.
